The Lectors proclaim the readings during Mass. The Lector is called not only to be familiar with the readings of the Mass but to treat the readings with great dignity.

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist

The role of an extraordinary minister of Holy Communion is to assist the priest in serving communion during the celebration of Mass.  Communion ministers are scheduled to serve communion at a specific mass or service in the church, and do so in a meaningful and efficient manner

Ministers of Hospitality

Our ushers and greeters, also known as our Ministers of Hospitality, have the responsibility of greeting and welcoming all the parishioners as they enter the church. With a friendly and warm smile they help people find a seat, answer questions, take the collection, and lend a watchful eye at Holy Communion.

Children's Liturgy

During the Sunday 10:00 a.m. Mass, Children’s Liturgy sessions are held to develop the children’s understanding of the Liturgy of the Word. The Liturgy is adapted to be made relevant to the lives and experiences of the young children and to prepare them for full participation in the Mass as they get older.

Altar Serving

The Altar Servers assist the priests and deacons during Mass by presenting and arranging vessels and other items used in the liturgical celebrations. Other than Saturday and Sunday Masses they may be called upon to assist at other special Masses including weddings and funerals.

Altar Guild

The Altar Guild is comprised of a group of volunteers who are responsible for the various duties in the church and sacristy which include the washing and changing of the altar linens, cloths and sacred vessels used in the church for the celebration of Mass.

Parish Choir

The St. Isaac Jogues Parish Choir is made up of volunteers who enjoy singing and wish to help preserve the great tradition of classical liturgical music and in doing so maintain it as a vibrant living tradition within the Roman Catholic Church.  Its members come from both professional as well as non-professional music backgrounds.

Parish Youth Choir

St. Isaac Jogues is very excited to welcome back the Parish Youth Choir to sing at the 4:30PM Mass on Saturday evenings! This year, we are expanding our choir and would like to invite all students from grades 5 to 12 to join our choir. No experience necessary.
